British scientists announced alcohol most dangerous drug

Sacked adviser to the government of the United Kingdom David Nutt, along with a group of colleagues published a study which claims that alcohol causes more damage to society than drugs.

Scientists conducted a study of the harm that one or the other type of drug deals that who uses it, and his entourage, writes the Guardian. In their view, alcoholism is much more dangerous to society than the mass distribution of heroin and synthetic drugs.

During the study, scientists created a new scale to measure the harm of drugs. They included in their evaluation system nine types of damage that may cause one or another narcotic substance individual (from death to damage to brain function) and seven types of harm that drugs cause to society. The maximum amount of harm on both scales were evaluated in 100 points.

The most dangerous drug was recognized as alcohol (76 out of 100 points). Below the scale is meth (33 points), cocaine (27 points) and tobacco (26 points).

"Our study shows that modern legislation does not take into account the real harm that certain types of drugs," — noted British scientists.

In the Ministry of internal Affairs of great Britain has announced the report of the doctors don't know yet. "We have not read the report. Curious, any alcohol or harmful all depends on the dose and type of beverage.

Merkaba - I agree , for me personally, the most disgusting when people can NOT drink , first getting hooked on this thing regularly ,and secondly I don't know what does ((((

I for some reason inside the brake there's always a built-in , and the intoxication I can control in stages - not as some - so it's bringing the positive . Of course not every day this happens)))
