Andrew,
thank you! I will try the method.
Андрей Патрушев wrote:what You perceive as failure, I take it as experience and feedback. If I didn't smoke for two years after another FR, this for me is definitely a strong achievement.
Well, first off, what makes You think that I perceive it as a failure? If 2 years of not Smoking, it is a great achievement, I would like that!
"Failure", which I used, is just a way of nominalization, it should be the same as it is called, what happened.
Besides, You hardly set a goal not to smoke for a while or not to smoke, say, 2 years when I first tried FR. I'm guessing You wanted to quit once and for all, as I do now. So from the point of view of formal logic-conscious, this is definitely "failure" in relation to the stated goals, but not "bad" in terms of the result as takogogo.

Another thing is to take this "setback" as the final failure or as a rather successful attempt that can be improved, if you make changes... So in the word "failure" for me, there is no definitive negative, "bad" is NOT a "complete failure", in this sense, I, however, as the authors indicate in the book do not agree. Well, God bless him, it's just words, they have a lot to write in order to convey all the shades of meaning... I say "partially successful attempt"
You seem to be the essence of SHR did not catch - he's not forcing You to smoke or not to smoke, and provides new ways and freedom of choice. At the same Shikotan I had extremely limited choices in terms to do anything else. In a situation with death of a friend, most likely, the key words were: "simple" and "fast"...
I think on the contrary, the variability of behavior that a person can give himself through the FR, I was very well caught, even identified for yourself in the book...
Just deliberately, I find that hard to believe until you try it sounds like fiction
I have realized that the key changes for You between the first attempts and far the most successful attempt to change his pattern of behavior in relation to Smoking
was that the request to find a
new, equally effective ways of satisfying certain needs (that were previously associated with Smoking) You added "installation",
to these methods was to satisfy the need
quick and simpleand it apparently gave the result. Did I understand You correctly?
I've been wondering, how do You think - will again if similar circumstances when well, very little options of what you can do to to do
(as, for example, You Shikotan due to bad weather and other specific conditions), and the implicit need not "sleep", if You can keep yourself from Smoking?!
Maybe You have already had the opportunity to test it?
Understand that after 20 years of "not Smoking", the question sounds silly, but nevertheless...
AndrewI'm sure you know that I don't just "get" about Your experience, and try to find a "formula" of the request to the subconscious, so it is important the details!
It is no wonder that in the book it says that a very important precision of language in internal dialogue with the subconscious.
Андрей Патрушев wrote:Well, firstly, You describe the situation when a part has already started communication. Secondly, the book is a detailed and humorous discussion.
Yes, the fact of the matter is that the authors suggest in these cases or to ask the subconscious for forgiveness for the fact that the consciousness is insufficiently respected him\valued before, or "collide" on it,
saying, say, "how are you, stupid, don't want to take more effective ways to meet the needs for which you advocate?" or "do you want to spend the extra energy on the satisfaction of needs through the old way when you can make a new one?" (this is not a quote, but that's the implication).
Thought can You tell me what are the other options in the case of "stuck" on a particular step?!<
