Drives A. Patrushev convert it to mp3 without loss
Some of the discs (tracks) can be converted to MP3 without losing effect? And are there any such in nature?

And why mp3 ? Other formats do not? There are more effective algorithms for sound compression. The mp3 format is no longer relevant. Recently only compress to Ogg Vorbis. Even lab work done (for himself)... See on http://avbegunov.narod.ru/ in section the audio compression. And why do you compress the discs of the Master Sensei? With the current volumes of media a couple of WAV files will not take up much space.

Because MP3 is played by the majority of devices - iPods, mobile phones etc. unlike OGG which, by the way, basically from nothing and MP3 is no different...Дендропоника wrote:why mp3 ? Other formats do not?
Use a lossless codec preserves the contents of a record bit-by-bit, but reduces the file size by 4 times.Дендропоника wrote:And why do you compress the discs of the Master Sensei (squeeze another chenit)? With the current volumes of media a couple of WAV files will not take up much space.

Propose to compress lossless codec as OGG not widely available (in Your words) except for computer and some other devices (TVIX from Dvico inc. for example).
I believe that the disks of the Master Sensei is better to WAV to listen. Good player supports WAV abound (take a look at molotok.ru khtb).

You don't say! So irrelevant! MCE player can be bought everywhere any size, color and manufacturer and carry with you everywhere. And do yourself advertising laboratory But one thing that's clear, that it is better not to compress or anything. I like listening to WAV files on PDAДендропоника wrote:why mp3 ?
