You instead of a quartz crystal battle use?

Judging by the photos in the second link, is used artificial quartz.

If you read his blog, it is a battle crystal. I understand that locally is Gus Crystal.

Me too, but I didn't have synthetic quartz. Have not yet tested it personally, we can only speculate.

Citrine and Amethyst are derivatives of quartz, but they are expensive.
