Question to developers: is it possible to replace the electrodes on the metal? The fact that the gel does not love and replace them with new ones the same would not be desirable. I saw that on the website of Tesa has a headband with a titanium electrodes, but I could easily build similar - the only question is the choice of material. Do titanium? Or enough brass? Although I suspect that copper/brass/bronze will give the green spots due to the electrochemistry.
Re: Replacement electrodes
All metals that You have listed, will give the effect of electroplating and metal can penetrate the skin. Ideal stainless steel. Articles of it even in the mouth take.

You yourself already gave the answer to your question: Yes, these metals are oxidized. there are requirements of the Ministry of health.
Stainless steel is very difficult technologically processed we tried. The Titan in this respect better.
Gold, platinum, silver - the same option is good. But, my dear.
