Switchers from James Mangan

Came across a book by James T. Mangan "the Secret of an easy life. How to live without problems."
There is written about the use of 160 words, passwords or switches (switch words) for different purposes.
For example, saying the English word HO [Ho], people yawn.
There are more useful options:
BE = to gain health
COUNT = get money
FIND = find a lost thing etc...
It all sounds interesting, but somehow dangerous. NLP?
The author died at the age of 70 years and generally was a man, frankly eccentric, who founded and officially registered the Nation of Outer Space.
Thoughts? Thoughts on this? Is there anyone here who is interested in switchers?
