In the book "Awareness," OSHO writes: "the Mind is without thoughts in two conditions — either in deep sleep or in meditation. If you realize and thoughts disappear, is meditation. If thoughts disappear and you become unconscious, in a deep sleep." How to stay awake ??? How ???

Awakening in the dream.
That is wakefulness. Contact with him. Very good help --- system simplify the complex. That is the motto :be easier. Then before going to bed, visualized vertical silvery and mentally the perception of moving along this silver thread running inside of consciousness. The main stay of this thread. It seems that one of the systems of Indian am on the concept of "spirit." I don't remember exactly, I think the rig Veda. But these systems were built on the structure of consciousness, which have been studied extensively almost "under the microscope". That is, it is important to identify and study the characteristics of the movement of thought, conception, realization, manifestation. Then simply the passive silence of the mind, translate into active, that is, in the Wake.
I want to note that what is Samadhi, the state of Nirvikalpa (Immersion in the infinite, but complete loss of memory about the experiences in it.) was a special difficulty at the RAMAKRISHNA and other Indian saints. Important part of the work is reduced, apparently, to the staging of tasks (waking - consciousness). First --- knowing the nature of pure consciousness, devoid of properties and qualities.(Shunyi Buddha)(the physical vacuum). Second, the infinite light of or Ein Sof. the light is visible, a condition perceived as one and the same.

I don't know why
