very few people are genetically predisposed to such diets
It's not a diet, but a lifestyle... About genetics partially agree with you, but only in terms of the transition period. Someone microflora well, quickly and painlessly adapt to raw vegetable food, and someone can be a severe cleansing crisis. Everything in my opinion depends on neglect of the body. Yes, and the important role played by the psychological aspect, if a person forcibly LIMIT itself in meal, nothing good will come of it, but if you go on a raw food diet convinced, consciously, that in my opinion the period of adaptation to the new food should be very quiet...
Remember to stuff your brain with the correct information... Lot of videos on this topic, you can see for example here:

Vegetarianism-I have almost a year. For raw meat I always had an aversion, I can't imagine how people can touch. Recently I started to feel the STENCH of cooked meat. When my mother makes what-thread soups on meat broth to the kitchen not to go... Well, shakedown this unrealistic rubbish... now I can't imagine how you ever did have it. And by the way I never could have imagined that the meat can stink...
How to live and what to eat every man for himself decides for himself, because we are all individual and everyone has their own way of life...
