Modified firmware on the part of the level control gate decoder during playback strobe records.
This version was called 1.15M2. In the manual these changes are not yet described.

http://www.mindmachine.ru/download/navi ... v115m2.bin

Adjustment buttons "up" (respectively, increase the threshold and decrease the sensitivity of the strobe decoder) and down (decrease the threshold). During the adjustment appears to the right near the window with the progress bar is the inscription "LD<current level>" where the value of the current level can be set from 0 to 19, its initial value is determined by what is selected in the settings menu to select the files (select "level"). The value is adjustable during playback is not stored. Because in most cases it is one and the same should be only on some records it is to adjust.

For disks Patrushev about thresholds such (if you set the volume on the player = 46) :
Healing 12
endrofin, journey through inner worlds, the Explorer 08 (this value can be put by default in menu the strobe decoder to select the files).

settings must remain those that were in last time.
I don't know. May stood up crooked. Problems in principle, no. Set up through exercise. But through the player, something is buggy. Yesterday, listening to the guide at 5, today included 4 is configured through exercise. Put 5, listened, turned off, turned on before writing the message again is 4.

Here is a description of 1.5, corresponding to version 1.15M2.

http://www.mindmachine.ru/download/navi ... tr1_5b.doc

Added description adjust the threshold of the gate decoder, which in the version of VPO 1.15M2 to regulate directly when playing strobe recording (page 34).

it happens that the driver in the execution of the installer for SAM-PROG is not installed.
Typically, this can be caused by the following reasons :
1. the device is transferred to the programming mode, turned on and connected to the computer, and then began to install the program In this case, the system puts the port a driver-cap, and in device Manager it still remains an "unknown device", even after a correct installation of the drivers will still be our device "unknown device". In this case the only solution is to manually take and using device Manager to remove the device and drivers to it (which is connected but not "those"). If it doesn't work, then reinstalling the program (the instrument must be connected).
2. the drivers installed but the device is connected to an internal USB hub. Very rarely (almost 1-2 out of hundreds) but these splitters do not always work correctly with the drivers. Output - connect to the USB port coming directly from the bridge. (the computer is usually the connectors, facing directly to the motherboard and not on a bracket or extension).
3. in some cases after installing the drivers, restart. Although if you have XP with all patches and at least SP2, then installing the drivers for programming a reboot is not necessary.

GLITCH FIRMWARE 15M2

Post by Энди » Wed Jan 02, 2013 11:42

Interesting glucos happened! Today I decided to start work on the beta waves of Endorphins. Installed firmware 15M2 and horror simultaneously with the inclusion of the track, from the signal dynamics began to play the melody (something of a classic) and blinked the signal led. With repeated on/off, everything was fine. What was it? At the same time I want to remind you about your will when the auto power off of the Navigator to remove the blink signal of led. And still it would be nice when playing tracks to add a countdown timer track time. And here's the endorphins would listen for 5 minutes to start, had to raise additional device.

SW. even more convenient when the first post of the topic is constantly being edited and contains all the links to the latest program and firmware and instructions, etc., so as not to waste time reading pages of forum discussion of any technical problems and bugs, for those who just need to pereproshit, and not ask too many questions. And it is more convenient to you. Kindly please update :)
How are things going with the update under Win7 64 ?

Is it possible under Linux to reflash? And that Windows is not all there. (a machine with XP soon will be a rarity)

This is a question for the manufacturer of the microcontroller, which built the instrument. They do this kind of support and see no need to adapt software to "multimedia" systems. No one seriously thinks that Alex is going to write such a program yourself?

Do not speak for all - the vast majority of professional software developers, engineers and other handy brotherhood without problems, and the need for "careful handling a file after the build" works only under XP. Besides, now less active viruses in the network under it is more and more under the new small-soft products...

In cases where you need periodic firmware updates to iron the end user(a user with minimal skills and knowledge in digital technology), I believe the best 2 options work:

- standalone flashing device itself - into the root directory of the flash card is written specially prepared file with the new firmware, the device runs a special mode, it runs independent from the main firmware of the module-loader and directly transfers the data from a file into pereproshivka memory area, and then self-reboots the device - at least dances with a tambourine, a maximum of comfort(especially if a procedure checks the compatibility and integrity of the file before downloading).
is a free operating system(the same Linux), downloaded from memory cards and specially trained to work with the device - with a full set of drivers, perhaps even an automatic algorithm which will minimize the process of replacing the firmware by clicking confirm you start recording - anybody have a suitable OS on the computer just booted from the stick and Posuda. The same drive can push and editor sessions. Or alternatively live CD.<

Following your logic, buying, for example, a cleaner I need to contact the manufacturer of the controller on which he is working to figure out what was wrong. It's some sort of nonsense. Where does the manufacturer of the controllers? I buy the Ready Device (in this case, Navigator) and ask specific questions-wishes to those who produced it (at least it says so on the Navigator). And who my producer is buying parts for their Ready Device (Navigator) I should not worry. Let them understand each other and "kick" each other.
This is certainly a strong one, and the Navigator thing is just super, and we are all grateful that it even exists. And look at the lack of software (under win 7 and beyond) through his fingers and understanding. But it can't last forever! I suspect that most likely what we need is already there, and drivers and software. "Kick" this "maker of microcontroller" :)

You bought a specific "Ready Device(Navigator)", which is sharpened for offline use(sessions and related files on the microSD can be put anywhere - on a smartphone, tablet, TV), but for firmware software, you need to have a specific OS - WinXP. "Ready Device(Navigator)" operates according to specified performance characteristics on any version of firmware, and for those who want more, need piggy on the computer(firmware update - this is what less than one percent of end-users electronics is the statistics).
That is, if we follow Your logic 8)

Most of the XP costs of the second system - use it only when necessary.

In any case, I believe that the man-hours of developers is better spent on the development of the instrument itself - new features, new sessions, the improvement of existing regimes and the extension of the performance characteristics, not on solving problems that need not all.
